Here's what you need to do, at least in my humble opinion. Buy an iSUP whether it's Glide or any other brand though I have my bias, find a remote lake that requires a hike to get to it and GO. I've had therapy every week for 8 years but these sessions for me in gorgeous remote locations on the water have soothed my soul in a way nothing else has. That's all I have to say :)
We bought two Isle inflatables a couple of years ago. The only thing good about those boards was the workout we would get each time out on the water fighting to stay balanced the entire time. Wobbliest boards ever. Cannot tell you how many times we fell in, even in perfectly calm conditions. After reading some online story about iSUPS we decided to go with Glide and have been AMAZED by the difference between the two models. The Retro 02 is as stable as any hardboard I've been on. We absoltelyu love this board and look forward to spring so we can get back out on them. Great great quality and at a fair price. 5 solid stars.
Perfektes Spielzeug, um es im Sommer auf Kreta mitzunehmen. Das Paddeln auf der Ägäis sollte jeder mindestens einmal versuchen. Tolle. Gutes Produkt.
I just received this board and love it! Easy to blow up and very sturdy. We don’t have room so this is great. I’m new to paddle boarding and was able to navigate great my first try. My only question - this seams thicker than regular boards so I wasn’t able to get up on the board in deep water. Any suggestions on how to make this easier? For now I’m just going into water where I can stand and then it’s easier or off a dock. Thanks for any tips. Great product.
The invention of inflatable SUP boards is one of my favorite things ever. I hike a lot, all throughout CA and cannot tell you how long I used to wish I could get out on these remote alpine lakes that are so remote and gorgeous. The wait is over. I love the backpack that the Retro is stored in. I throw some water in there and a lunch and head out for a hike. My fave thing to do is paddle to some rock island and eat lunch in perfect solitude. Best thing ever. Thank you to Glide for making a kick ass product that delivers on its promises.
