I bought two of these Angler 2.0 SUPs, one for me and one for my wife. We bought a blue one and a green one. These come in two color options; blue/grey and green. While they are the same board, the design is slightly different and the deck material feels a little different. Both are incredible. You really can't go wrong with either one. My wife and I are the kind of people that do a TON of research before we buy something. I'm looking for quality; construction, build quality, design, function, etc. My wife on the other hand is all about the aesthetics. She wants it to look good.
This SUP ticks all the boxes for both of us. The quality of this board is obvious. You can just tell it's a made well when you open it up and inflate it. The seams are strong, the material is very nice and the design is well thought out. D-rings are everywhere, and there is SO much space on the deck. I recently took my mom out for her first ride. I put the chair in the front of the SUP and I stood on the back/middle and paddled. Even with our combined weigh of close to 400lbs, it handled and tracked just fine. Sure, you're not winning any kind of speed races with that much weight on the board, but it cruised so comfortably and effortlessly. The material that it's made out of is VERY good. If you're looking to buy a new SUP, read this article. It is highly informative. And it also highlights just how high quality Glide SUPs are at this price point.

My daughter (8) can also handle this board. She is JUST tall enough to be able to paddle with the paddle setting at its lowest. It's clearly too big for her overall, but the point is is she can still use it. I also really like that my wife and I can take our daughters out together. She can take our youngest (8) and I can take our oldest (12) and all four of us can go out comfortably for a day of exploring.
I kayak fish as well as boat fish, but I've never fished off of a SUP. But this thing is incredible. I can stand and cast with no problems, even my fly rod. I should note I'm 6'2 and 220lbs, and I can easily stand and place a dry fly where I need to on this board. I really like the hardware that comes with it as well. There are two accessory attachments that take RAILBLAZA accessories. Google "RAILBLAZA accessories" on Amazon and you'll find a TON of attachments that you can quickly attach and detach on the front two attachment points where the rod holders sit. I bought a cup holder accessory to hold my water flask for one side, and I keep a rod holder on the other side. It is so cool that they thought do add these attachment points. They make a BIG difference.
The fins are a nice touch too. There are 3 of them. One surf fin (the big one) and two side fins. These fins are easy to put on and off, although the center fin just slides into place. If you backup your SUP in the water and hit a rock or something, there is a good possibility that you center fin may slide off. It's pretty hard to do, just know it's possible. I have included links to both the Surf fin and to a pair of side fins that fit this SUP off of Amazon below. I bought a spare set to have with me in case I lose them on the water. They really do help with tracking.
The bag that comes with this SUP is really nice. Nice thick handles, lots of storage, and I never felt like the bag was too small for the SUP and accessories. It really fits well. One IMPORTANT thing to note about the bag... DO NOT ROLL THE BAG ON ITS WHEELS. Trust me, don't do it. This is the ONE small gripe I have with this package. The wheels are too small to support the size of the bag. You'll inevitable end up dragging part of the bag on the ground, and you will damage the bag (especially if you're dragging it on concrete). I've shared this feedback with the design team and they confirmed that they will look at this design quirk and potentially make some changes in teh future. But learn from my mistake, DO NOT ROLL THE BAG. It's only 23 lbs, use the attached backpack straps and carry it instead. Consider yourself warned.
Lastly, I have to rave about the customer service. I love the people at Glide. Each time I have talked to them they were kind, receptive, and made me feel like I mattered. What a cool company. I highly recommend buying from Glide. Not just because of their friendly staff, but also because they make a REALLY quality board. You can easily spend twice the price on another brand, and get less quality, features, etc.

These boards are a solid 5/5 for us. If you're even considering this board, stop considering and just buy it. Trust me, you won't regret it.
God bless!
